How To Get Over the Past: Set New Goals

February

The past can be happy, but there are times we just can't forget what put us down.

Those times when we lost someone, left by someone, or didn't fulfill a goal, are audios that couldn't be broken, and journals that couldn't be torn. Needles come pricking windows of our past. There's still that throbbing pain, and a scar that couldn't be erased by surgery.

How do we move on?

The question is: Are we alive or dead?

If we're dead, then we rest with God.

If we're alive, then we hope in Him.

Nothing is perfect in this world, but love. Love comes from God, and no matter our trials and pain, God sees how we suffer, how we cry, and how we could have been better.

If we sinned, we could ask for a sorry. Sorry God, I will try to be better this time.

If we have been indifferent, sorry God, I will try to act and share this time, though how little or big.

And if we've always won, thank you God for all the gifts and success. I will serve others more and share what they could learn from me.

I will be a good example. If they would like to know my beauty, I will give thanks to God. If they ignore me, I would still shine for others. If they like me so much, I would tell them, they have to thank You.

In the passing of time, we learn wisdom and share in the life of many people. The challenges give us all a chance to win a game, and to lose, in a battle. But the meanings of our lives are carved on this earth, and each has a chance to play in the seasons of time.

We have dreams, and we have goals. Some dreams we realize; some we don't. But in the end, we all win: living this life as God's gift. We could have been animals and not man, but we are man as keepers of these animals and the earth around us. God entrusted everything in man's care. We couldn't lose a hope.

We would live for others, who need us. The poor are always around needing help; those who are broken needing touch; those who are sick needing nurture. We would never be alone. The cycle of life would never stop with a misfortune, but it will with our power to shine and love others as we live for a Divine Master.

Move on, I am following you. We will walk together.
