Ponderings.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven ...Ecclesiastes.
We're nearing all souls and all saints day --- and then it too shall pass.
Soon the sky would open up again and angels and saints would scatter and join us, and maybe peep into this earth, once their home.
The churches and the faithful will pray unceasingly, candles will be lit, flowers scattered, peace and a blast of calm togetherness in cemeteries and altars.
Why do we we celebrate these times and days of separation between life and death?
Because the body is fleeting breath and time, but the soul is affirming infinity.
Only with its Creator can it find peace and joy
Only with its Creator can it find wholeness
"The is Lord my refuge... I shall not fear.."
Now, I shall be happy.
